Unique and spectacular in itself, India is a country which is full of beautiful contrasts. One of the striking features of India is its ‘unity in diversity’, ‘intermingling but different cultures’ and a very ‘rich heritage’ to boast of. Just as India’s culture is, its geography too is varied and diverse. Right from the snowy mountains in the north to dense forests in the south and arid deserts in the west, India offers it all.

Apart from the rich rituals, festivals and ceremonies; India is also a land of adventure that takes pride in its epics and history. India is a hub for erudition and wisdom. India can boast of great sages and scholarly learners who have contributed significantly in the field of mathematics, ayurveda, yoga etc.

Agriculture is the dominant occupations of the people of India and this is also an important economic sector for the country. India is the second fastest growing economy in the world. Indian economy is on the rise for the past few years with effects of globalization, privatization and liberalization due to which many new business opportunities have opened up in the country especially for multinational companies.

India has a strong road and a rail network and Indian infrastructure is well developing. Almost all cities and towns are connected via roads and railways. Also, Indians are known for their hospitality. The warmth and affection that they have can be seen almost anywhere in the country.

India has tropical weather. The climate of India cannot be generalized as it varies significantly from region to region. The seasons of India is mainly defined by summer, rainy and winter. The climate in the central India is more or less directed by the north and south of Indian climate depending upon the proximity.

It is also during October to March that Indian festivals like Diwali and Holi are celebrated. All festivals in India are very colourful and behind all this celebration are the beliefs, history and rituals that people hold who celebrate it with great joy.

Indian weddings are also something very exclusive to the country. They are colorful, grand and loud. Here, one gets to see the best of songs and dances, and lip smacking food to relish! India promises you some wonderful memories to cherish. It is an experience to die for.

Music runs through the blood of every Indian. It not necessarily has to be the same music, but on the whole there are songs in various compositions that have drawn individuals towards them.

Indian songs have not only won the Indian heart but it has travelled the world over and impacted people of various countries. Even today the new Indian songs have takers across the world.

New songs are mostly derived from the Bollywood industry that is song and dance centric. There are at least three to five songs in each movie and if it is a musical movie songs could be over fourteen.

Every new movie that is to be launched first releases its music album; the propaganda they create from the music incites the people to watch the movie. Latest songs that have become great hits are Ya Ali from Gangster, Jhoom Barabar from the movie Jhoom Barabar Jhoom, Kajra Re from Bunty aur Babli and most of the songs of Himesh Reshamiya are latest hits that have been on the top charts for months on end.

These songs when seen on the video make it more attractive for the viewer and push them to buy the video. No doubt the market for Indian video songs has always been huge in India and abroad.

Besides bollywood there is a huge market for classical songs, qawalli, ghazals, kirtans, bhajans and other devotional music. The market for these songs too is so huge that singers are requested to perform abroad at various locations.

Out of all the languages that exist in India, Hindi songs bite in a larger share of the market. As it is the national language, it is understood from north to south and with voices like Alka Yagnik, Sonu Nigam, Mika Singh, Udit Narayan, Alisha Chinai and other renowned singers you are sure to melt with their melodious voices.

So Indian Hindi songs were and will always be entertaining the classes and masses. Be it in your car audio or riksha you travel in, Hindi songs are everywhere. Even for a social gathering or a party, Hindi songs once played get everyone in the mood. Be it the somber music or the latest jatkas they are preferred by young and old alike.
